I looked at, and tried on, many motorcycle jackets from Joe Rocket, Alpinestar, Icon, as well as a few other brands. This was by far the best made, best fitting, most comfortable jacket of them all. Leather is very thick. Armor is a big plus. A little heavy but I am very happy with this product. I am so impressed with this company that my helmet and gloves are also Icon brand. They say you get what you pay for and it’s true. You want quality you have to step up. But quality gear will last a long time. Just a note: I went on a summer ride on a hot day and with the liner removed and all the nice zipper vents (6 of them, not counting the pockets) open and the perferations in all the right places I was actually fairly comfortable. When it’s cold, I put the liner back in, close the zipper vents, and I am acceptably warm. Jackets are subjective as well as objective so get what fits and what looks good. This one did that for me.
